Characters from franchises known for more unique aesthetics, such as Prime and Animated, are updated with the modern Generations aesthetic to fit with the rest of the toyline, which can range from a significant redesign to the same basic model just rendered more like a modern " Generation 1" toy. The toys are largely in the scale and style of those from the War for Cybertron Trilogy, including numerous 3 mm posts and 5 mm ports from the C.O.M.B.A.T. Transformers: Legacy (aka Transformers Generations: Legacy) is a subline imprint of the Generations toyline, and the successor to the War for Cybertron Trilogy.įirst revealed in late 2021 at Hasbro Pulse Con 2021, Legacy commemorates the approaching 40th anniversary of the Transformers brand by featuring new toys of characters from across the Transformers multiverse. I don't see any of those going down anytime soon.We did it. But we're talking either Walmart, Target or Amazon. I'd be surprised if we ever see pallets of cheap titans ever again unless a major retailer that contracts with Hasbro suddenly collapses. With TRU defaulting on payments, Hasbro sold the stock to discounters just to get rid of it. Pallets of stock that were ordered for the holidays (and not paid for) were sitting in U.S. I think that also had to do with Toys R Us liquidation at the time.

Omega Supreme and Predaking never went to deep discount (that $50 Omega Supreme sale in Carlisle PA doesn't count). Incidentally, the last Titan Ollie's sold was Trypticon.

At $200 with no partner and a lack of personal attachment to the AEC trilogy, instant pass. If it were $120-150 retail, then yeah, I could justify it. Now, unless I can get it on deep discount, I'm not interested. I was initially in on this because I truly like the original Cybertron Metroplex.
